This video is called ‘Power Of Ten’ which is all about scaling. It starts out with a scene 1 meter wide then zooms out squares x10 each time from the picnic scene going into our galaxy light years away. In our workshop we had to take an image and ‘scale parts of the image.

For our exercise we had take an image and scale part of the image. It took some time to familiarise myself with each software but after selecting on all the different filters, colours and tools it I was pretty happy with the results of my scale images.
WORKSHOP
SCALE 1
SCALE 2
I used the option 'GIMPressionist" which is the main filter option on GIMP and I played around with the options, I went and used the brush option "BALL" and it gave my image a grainy effect.
The next filter i used is cubism and I liked how it made the wheels look like its under water. it blurs our all of that loose elastic band on the wheels. The final step to scale my image i used illusion to give my image the 'illusion' of scaly sea shells.
INKSCAPE
FINAL DESIGN
On inkscape I experimented with text, the typeface I used is Andes. I highlighted the whole text and made object into path. Then used the path cursor and stretched out the text and joining the text together.

Then I used inkscape to create an image using the pen tool and created a cacti!!
